I have known Evan since the late 1990s as Amy’s little brother. I had many chats with Evan at their family home in Langley at the time. Evan was one of the most humble, wise (beyond his years), and observant people I have ever known. I also admired his independence and firm convictions in the kind of career(s) he wanted to thrive in.
