I am very sad and shocked to be writing this memory of Graeme – a colleague of mine for many years, who I’d like to think became a friend. My thoughts are with Fi and the family. Graeme was a very colourful, influential and super-intelligent character.  He was an extreme extrovert from a Myers-Briggs perspective, which brought initial stress and later amusement with me being an introvert. Eventually we sorted out ways of cooperating effectively together, e.g. with him favouring speaking and me writing as we worked out ideas!  I appreciated Graeme’s great support in championing decarbonisation initiatives and new ways of thinking in the company. I also remember well the high priority that Graeme gave to the health and safety of others. Whenever I am on an office staircase I think of Graeme who was a tireless champion of holding the rail!
