It was with shock and sadness that I learned of Paula’s passing. I had known Paula almost from my first few days at GMG when she enrolled me on her list of reviewers for Scottish Enterprise. She would have been delighted to hear of the recent extension of access of NIHR Programmes to Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. On two occasions, just after she had joined the i4i team, I accompanied her to tricky project kick-off meetings in Bristol. I soon realised why she liked having projects there – because it gave her an excuse to visit family in Wales!

I shall always remember Paula as a delightful and encouraging colleague, who did a lot to make GMG a great place to work and my condolences go to Terry and the rest of the family at this time.
