On the day Jamie introduced me to David I thought it was immediately clear what an incredibly caring thoughtful and genuine person David was. As time moved on, David joined EY, and we began to work more together I realised I had massively underestimated his qualities. Amongst a range of super powers David had a unique ability to make people feel special, whether helping a graduate on their first day, or a client with their most difficult challenges. In between both of these examples I will always remember that David never mentioned or smiled about Villa 7 Liverpool 2 in my presence!

David’s transformative impact on our TMT business in such a short space of time will never be forgotten. I fondly remember many conversations with David planning for the next phases of our efforts in this area. A journey devastatingly cut short, David’s contribution and legacy will last forever
