My first meeting with David was my interview for EY, and it is still an experience I look back on with fondness. There aren’t many interviews you leave laughing, while also feeling genuinely listened to. Most conversations with David ended up this way over the first two years of my career under his guidance.
I’m glad I came into the office early so many times over the last two years to revise, only to be promptly derailed by a quick hello that turned to weekend debriefs, and the holiday plans he looked forward to with his wife and children, whom he so proudly adored.
I will always be grateful for his mentorship and the example he set both professionally and personally. He will be deeply missed.
