Guy and I trained together, and our career paths have been in parallel over many years. I am sad to have seen Guy decline over the last months/years, and realise that he was a very private person who did not let anyone in before there was no way back into health. He certainly was an original, who had a strong work ethic for whom the patient was always at the forefront. A colleague I will not forget.
