When I think of Rod I think of energy and fire.
His energy was not to be matched. He COULD keep it under control through what he felt were long, boring or useless discussions, but you could always see it in his eyes, it was there, simmering.
Never seen him in a customer session without waving his hands and energy out or thrashing a whiteboard. Never heard him say “No, I won’t help you” or “No, it’s impossible”. We didn’t always agree on content or methods – but his impatience and hunger for outcome, his pushing himself, that was and will always be an example for me.
Goodbye Rod – you will be missed.
