It was with great sadness that I heard of Francis passing, but also great pride to have known and learnt from such a great man. Francis was up there in my estimation as the best inpatient nurse I ever saw. He was kind, smart, dedicated and always had the patient’s best interests at heart. He was also great fun. Of all the things he could have been, we were so lucky he decided to be one of us. Thank you Francis for all the lives you touched and all that you gave. Thank you for all you taught me and others. We will miss you, but we were lucky to know you.
