Alan. It is with great sadness i am writing this. We first met in May 1995 and from the first moment we met you made me laugh and feel at home. Over the years i enjoyed our chats about football and cricket You being a Millwall Fan and myslef a Charlton fan. 

You was someone i came too when needing help and advise both for work and my personnal life and i trusted you always. Your one liners have stayed with over the 30 years i have known you and to this day i still find myself quoting them. when you came into the office in Barking everyone stopped what they was doing to talk and listen to you knowing you was going to say something funny.

The time we spent working together at Silvertown and Creek Road will always be special. 

Thanks for everything you did for me Alan, some of the things i cannot put in writing and i will always be thankful for the times and we laughs we shared.

I will miss you loads mate.
