I met Steve over 14 years ago when he hired me into his storage team and I worked for him either directly or indirectly for many of the years since. Throughout those years he was always very generous with his time, always there for me with support and guidance, always happy to share a laugh and a joke or commiserate the poor state of our respective football teams. He never lost that generous spirit, even with his illness over the last few years and I have a tremendous amount of respect for him for that.

I’ll miss his friendship, his mentorship, his wisdom and his smile. Thanks for everything Steve. Rest in peace.
