It is truly devasting to learn of Manfredi’s passing. I was fortunate to meet him near the beginning of our journeys together in the methane world and to have the opportunity to work with him on many occasions over the years since. Manfredi was unique in combining a deep technical knowledge with amazing leadership skills, an ability to lift the mood with a well-timed joke, and to win people around with his passion and humour. i learnt so much from him, and all of us in the methane space are going to miss him enormously.

The world has benefited hugely from Manfredi’s contributions – and he leaves an indelible legacy – even as it is now set to be a much poorer place without him.
