Frank 

 
I only knew you for the two years I’ve been at OGC, but it seems a lot longer – in a good way ! 
 
Having finally decided to join somewhere in the Warwickshire area, I emailed a few prospective local clubs. In contrast to some of the others, you were on the phone to me within 30 minutes, encouraging me to come down for a chat and play the course, selling the benefits of the club, all of which I’d say have proved to be true. As a  next step , you arranged a chat/interview with yourself and that year’s captain. I turned up at the appointed time – no Frank and no Captain in sight ! All got sorted eventually, but I probably saw both sides of Frank in my first few days. 
 
The personality of the club is in many ways your personality –  quirky, diverse, immensely sociable and with hidden depths. RIP.
