I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear the news of Kome today, I’m so sorry.

I worked with Kome. She was one of our GP trainees, at a time. She recently came to teach our current trainees. She was the loveliest, sweetest, friendliest person and I was always so happy to see her. I would be shopping downstairs at the hospital, or wandering around and she would come over and just brighten up my day like a true ray of sunshine. It just seemed so natural in her.

I will always remember Kome and how she made me feel, and do my best to be like that to others, to honor her. She was a really special person, I’m certain everyone who met her knew that.
