My heartfelt condolences to Lady Sheila, Rishi, Nikita and Shayan, and the wider Rabheru family.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Sir Ashok’s passing.  I first met Ashok back in 2010 when I joined The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Foundation and feel blessed to have known him for the last 12 years.  He was truly a beautiful soul and there are so many words that can be used to describe him, but my top picks are warm, gentle, humble, thoughtful, generous and funny.  A true gentleman who will be sorely missed.

Sir Ashok, you were one of a kind and the world was a better place with you in it.  May you rest in eternal peace.
