I am so deeply saddened to hear of Ashok’s passing.  I met him when I worked at Imperial College and he generously gave to Imperial, both his time and resources, particularly on our trips to India and in the UK, where he helped engage the Indian diaspora.  Ashok was a master networker and an inspiration to us all.  I will miss his wise advice, his sense of humour and his friendship.  He was so proud of his family and my heartfelt condolences go out to all of you and Ashok’s team.
