I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Stan and my sincere condolences go to his family at this very sad time.  Stan was always willing to help me out when asked and did so, first by moaning at me and then by sending me into fits of laughter.  Under that gruff exterior was a kind and extremely funny man, who regularly shared his (not so) secret sweets supply with anyone who happened to be around.  I worked with Stan for 15 years and his knowledge and presence at Linx will be very sorely missed.  Goodnight Stan xx
