This was a sudden and shocking loss to both of us. David and Jane have been wonderful close friends and neighbours for almost 30 years.  David leaves us with lovely memories of walking in the Lakes; going to the theatre in London; going to Chester races; visiting each other as neighbours for drinks; his magnificent version of Herr Flick at one of our several themed New Year’s Eve fancy dress parties.  His humour and laughter was like a thread of gold through all these times.  He will be sadly missed by us and by so many others.  Our love to Jane and the family at what is a very hard time.
