I am trying to stay optimistic… I feel, this is what Kamola would have wanted from her friends and colleagues. The torch ignited by Kamola will be our beacon and her smile will warm our hearts for long.
My first memory of Kamola goes back to many years ago, when she joined Tashkent RO and changed the way we treated and interacted with each other. While maintaining high professionalism, Kamola brought indescribable vibe of friendship and togetherness. She introduced a concept of “khonachilik” (my attempt to translate it would be “closed group of colleagues-friends who share the same office”), which is still in use by a small circle of former colleagues. And there are more similar examples of how naturally Kamola could change everyday life for better.
Our family will miss Kamola, her joy and smile, dedication and strong character…
