Ann treated me with such kindness as a new joiner back in 2019- despite being a remote worker she was able to always make me feel fully welcome and at ease when I visited for my induction and team events. She clearly had a clever knack for remembering the tiny details about each of us- even asking often after my puppy whose videos of learning to climb down the stairs made her smile and laugh. She made each of us feel appreciated and cared for. I will always be grateful for Ann’s influence on my journey at Kalibrate, and for the wonderful contribution she made to our family-feeling work environment. She is already deeply missed by us all- I am so sorry for your loss….

Ann was such a lovely person – whenever we chatted she was either counting down to her next exotic holiday or looking golden brown from the last one. We shared stories of travels and I’d leave happily jealous of what was to come next for her. We were so fortunate to have her at Kalibrate over all the years and she helped so many people, myself included. I’m grateful to have met her and I’m so very sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with the family and those nearest and dearest to her. Gareth x…

I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. Ann was nothing but wonderful the entire time I worked with her, and someone that I shared a smile and a laugh with almost every time that we talked. Hearing this news saddened me and I’m going to miss her deeply….

To Ann’s family I am so saddened at this sudden loss.  Ann gave so much love to not only me but my family too. There were countless holiday and food chats about Egypt, lemon drizzle cake, lamb & feta and many more recipes! She was also the “egg lady”, providing me eggs from her (& her mum’s) chickens!  I’ll never forget her warmth towards my daughter and gifts when she came into office. She’ll be sorely missed. Rest in peace Ann x…

Dear Ann’s family and friends, I am deeply sorry for your loss and send love and strength to you all at this difficult time. Unfortunately for me I only met Ann a handful of times having joined the business in October 2022. I do however remember our first chat during my onboarding of which straight away it was clear that Ann was a very warm, kind and approachable lady. She made me feel totally at ease. It is hard to remember names and faces when starting somewhere new but Ann was somebody who I remembered straight away due to her friendly nature. May you rest in peace Ann. …

My sincerest condolences for your loss. After first starting at Kalibrate 9 years ago, Ann made me feel immediately at home. Sitting just a few desks away she was always friendly and did whatever she could to make sure people had what they needed to succeed. Ann was kind, funny, approachable and a pleasure to work with. She will be dearly missed by the Kalibrate family but the positive influence that she had on the team will live on. …

I have known Ann since she joined what was then KSS in St James’ Building, and she was always a great colleague and friend. She was someone that I knew I could confide in, and trusted entirely. I always got a cheery wave as I passed her car on the way to work on my motorbike. A sad loss, and someone who will be missed by anyone and everyone who knew her. RIP Ann….

I only worked with Ann for two years but it was my pleasure and privilege to have known her. She was kind and no-nonsense in the way that all people should be and her loss is heartbreaking. To Ann’s loved ones – I am devastated for your loss and please accept all of my condolences. To Ann – you really did leave us far too soon – please do sleep well. x…

Dear Sonia & Peter Sincere condolences on your devastating loss of Ann. I cannot express my shock and sadness at this news. 23 years of friendship which started when I took a job at what was then known as KSS. Even when I left the company we kept in touch and had many raucous phone calls in the evening discussing our travel plans and then putting the world to rights (both of us with a few choice words when describing the state of things in the world). That’s why she was one of the first people to be invited to the celebration of our civil partnership in 2012 and she made me howl saying it was about time we made it legal (we had been together for 15 years by then)! Ann was so thoughtful and generous; she would help anyone where and when she was able. She would spend time listening and providing advice and assistance where she could. In another kind gesture she ensured that a mug that had been made for me when I worked at KSS, (but which I never received after my departure in 2011) was passed onto me when I started working back…

Sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to Ann’s family.   Having worked with Ann for nearly 10 years, it’s tremendously saddening to hear of her loss.  Ann was consistently kind hearted, welcoming and endlessly helpful.  She was always ready to chat, taking care to politely enquire about my life and my loved ones, as well as keen to find humour whenever possible. She will be sorely missed….

I met Ann when I joined Kalibrate in 2014. She was such a lovely, warm and welcoming person. She had a delightful sense of humour and adventurous spirit.  I live in Cape Town, South Africa and we would always talk about the sunshine here and I would urge her to come over and visit me. When I was in Manchester on business trips, Ann went out of her way to make me feel welcome and at home. My deepest sympathy to all of Ann’s family and friends….
