I had the immense privilege of working closely with Sarah last year, on the sustainability trial at Middleton. Like so many others in Property, I knew we were in safe hands if Sarah was working on a project. 

Sarah’s gift for being meticulously organised and calm under pressure was inspirational to witness and she always managed to keep a sense of humour, no matter what challenges came her way! 

Quite aside from her professional legacy, Sarah’s genuine kindness to everyone, infectious humour, patience and big heart is what I’ll miss most. 

How I wish I’d had the chance to tell Sarah how much I’ve personally learned from her. Instead, I’ll just have to remember to always ‘be more Sarah’.

I really hope her family and friends will take comfort from knowing just how loved she was by her Asda family.
