I had the absolute pleasure of working with James for the last two years. As a teacher he was excellent and was able to walk into a difficult role in our field of teaching with ease. Him and I thankfully had the same sense of humour and as a result shared some great laughs between ourselves, as a staff and indeed with our pupils. James passed on a wealth of knowledge over the years in his teaching and coaching to so many with a wonderful down to earth manner that the pupils warmed to. A super character and gentleman but above all a great friend who would always have your back. I will miss working with him and chatting with him and acting the ejit with him but he’s left us all some amazing memories. Unfortunately characters like James can never be replaced but that only highlights how great a guy he was.
