First of all, I want to express my sincere condolences to Nikos’ family, friends and colleagues. I met Nikos in a professional context – he was the PO for a project were I was involved and will never forget the way he managed to achieve an almost perfect balance between rigour, courtesy and fairness. He left a deep impression on me, as an example of what a real public servant should be: hard working, rigorous and always concerned about people doing things in the right way.

This is the same Nikos I grew very fond of, the same person that encouraged our team to pursue our ideas and turn them into reality. He was a very inteligent person and, at the same time, very kind and constructive. Never had the opportunity to meet him again and, sadly, I never will. But the lessons will stay, as well as the memory of the gentleman that pushed us to work better and harder.
