Michaela was a remarkable woman and I feel honoured that I knew her while she was at EBRD. When you say she had an impact on people’s lives, she really did, which you could see in the many projects she worked on. She left a strong legacy, having introduced the importance of gender and inclusion at EBRD. Thanks to her our work improved. She was a tough task master, but always kind, willing to listen and generous in her praise. A role model to many, we will miss her.
