I was so sorry to hear about lan Mitchell’s passing.  He was possibly the best boss l have ever worked for.  As well as being so easy to work with, catering wasn’t his only love.  We had a shared enjoyment of football.  He would always check Man Utd’s results at the weekend knowing how l would be on Monday morning. 

I am so glad l spent time with him in Alton earlier in the year.  Lots of sport on TV for us to discuss and lovely wines to drink.  

I am sure l will not be the only one to say Mr Mitchell will be very sadly missed.  They don’t make gentlemen like him any more, sadly.
