Mick was an absolute inspiration.  He had an amazing way of making you feel you were not just part of “a” team but part of “his” team.  I’ll never forget the first meeting he chaired when he became MD and his opening line was “When speaking, use the same amount of words as you would put on a postcard as that’s as much of my attention as you’ll get.  I may seem like I’m not listening but I always am and have the memory of an elephant”.  

I am so grateful to have been able to work for Mick and my thoughts are with his family.
