It was such a shock to all in Animal Health and Welfare Division to hear of Dan’s sudden and unexpected death. Dan was one of our key contacts for poultry matters and we spoke with him regularly. He was unfailingly helpful and indeed he answered calls from all sorts of unusual locations in different time zones. He also facillitated training for us and gave freely of his time.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this sad time; also with his colleagues who will also be missing his input and support.
