Jill Kay

Jill. Just her name can put a smile on anyone’s face and so many happy memories come to mind.
From the first day we met, she spotted my South East London accent and a bond was formed. We became travel train buddies for after work drinks, and had our little routine. Where I learnt about her obscure dislike for ‘wet’ foods, blue ink pens or it only being acceptable to drink tea out of thin tea cups! When I see these things, I get a tiny smile appear and think of Jill.
I will miss the wonderful, fun loving and caring person she was.
When someone has meant so much to you, it is hard to put it into words and the gap they will leave. In a tough year of my life, Jill was a rock for me. I hope she knew how grateful I was to have had her support and love.
