Hi Chris, 

I’m never late for anything, but sadly I was this time. I was in Salisbury on my way to the hospital when had a message from Miguel to let me know I was too late, the nurse confirmed you’d left when I got there.

I went on wandering around the town centre, imagining the places you’d spent many a happy days.

The town was buzzing with people, some Bangla celebration and a Scot’s band getting ready to play in the market square where there was jolly people, streetfood and a brazilian sunshine that was hot even for me.

You’d have loved it. 

One thing, though, the nurse wasn’t quiet right, you’d never left, and you’ll never will. You live in our memories and in our hearts today and always my friend.
