Sadly I had only known Sean for a few years but he was just the most wonderful man – a doctor one actualy really looked forward to seeing!  Not just because he was such a good doctor but he was fun to be with and one felt better just having spent time with him.

 I am so very sorry for his family and indeed Nicola and all who worked with him and can only add that even as a part time patient I am still reeling from the bad news.

The world seems a lot more daunting without him -one just felt better knowing he was there.  Long before he died I realised how very lucky I was to be one of his patients and realised how much I relied on him.   It sorrows me that there he was helping so many of us and in the midst of so many leading doctors and yet none of us could help him in the end.

How lucky for us to have known him and to have benefitted from his broad knowledge and his insight into how we mere mortals operate.

My very best wishes and sympathy to the White family and Nicola.
