Dear Jammy and Nicky, 

It is so difficult to find the words to express how we are feeling.

As parents, we should not be in the position of having to tell you how sorry we are about the death of your beautiful boy. I can only imagine the pain you must be going through. It is just brutal and awful and shite and all the other much swearier words!

You two have had such an impact on so many of our lives over the years and every time I have had the pleasure to spend any time in your company in more recent years, I have treasured the moments and been grateful to share your passion and enthusiasm for life. I am sure you will use those skills to help you navigate the days ahead. 

There is no road map for the difficult times you are facing and I only hope it offers some comfort to know that you have so much love and support from so many friends near and far.
