The Chappell family are heartbroken at the loss of our dear friend Duncan, and send all our love and sincere condolences to Emma, Isla and Archie, and to the rest of the family. 

Duncan has been an amazing colleague since he joined the Scor family way back in 2006: talented and reliable, he has been fabulous at everything he has done for us as both a Marketing Actuary and then after he moved over to look after the Corporate and Admin teams. Duncan’s wonderful calm and kind manner, together with his excellent technical skills and industry knowledge, saw him loved and admired by our own team and by our customers who he looked after so very well. 

But Duncan has been way more than a colleague for so many of us at Scor, he has been such a dear friend. Always interested in others, he has been one of those rare souls who always looks for the positive in every situation, offering wise council, support and kindness to everyone.  And we have had such fun over so many years, taking clients to see his beloved Scotland at Murrayfield and to the darts at the Alley Palley (all dressed as Bully!), and having many a round of golf at courses in the UK and Ireland. And when we have had a night at the pub with the home team, Duncan has been an ever present and a much loved member of our Scor family. Duncan will be sorely missed but never forgotten.
