Please accept my dearest condolences and sympathies in the passing of Mick.

Mick was a truly wonderful person to be around. He ensured everyone was included, felt important and was part of the team, irrespective of your position within it. He met every challenge with a smile and I never saw him once getting angry with anyone.

Mick was one of the first persons I met when I started working in the construction industry 25 years ago and I had the priviledge of working with him a few years later. It never ceased to amaze me that he could look at a page of numbers and immediately identify where something didn’t add up, it was quite incredible and I’ve never seen anyone else do this since.

When I had my interview at Lovell and I heard I would be working with Mick again, I was very happy. When I last saw Mick in April of last year, I was very happy to see that he was still the same person who I had known before and that his diagnosis had not dimmed either his wit or personality. I am just very sad that this was the last time that I got to enjoy his company. I will always embrace the great memories I have of Mick and I hope you do too.
