I was very saddened to hear this news. As a BVA officer I was involved with David on the RCVS mind matters initiative. A compassionate, thoughtful man of great conviction. When he spoke we listened. His family should be very proud. The veterinary profession is more aware and proactive around issues of mental health than ever and this is due in no small part to his work.
