I only knew Suzanne for a relatively short period of time but my lasting impression is of her enormous smile when she sought me out at annual planning before I’d even started with BLC. She welcomed me, promised to support me and for the following six months she did exactly that.
What always struck me about her was her deep care for others and whenever they were struggling she was there – for a chat, a walk or whatever else they needed. Genuine selflessness is rare but Suzanne had an authenticity in the way she was with people and she was clearly cherished for that.
She was also incredibly self-effacing and quick with a joke at her own expense.
For these and many other reasons she will be dearly missed and I consider myself fortunate to have got to know her over the last few months. Sending my deepest condolences to her family and friends.
