It was my pleasure to get to know Mike and Tricia when theylived here in the Tandayapa Valley. Great neighbours, they would drive up for a visit,  a nice birding hike and lunch, sharing photos and stoiries all the time. One fond memory I have is of sitting enjoying tea and (sponge) cake on the terrace at their house, and one of the hummingbirds atthe feeders  (I remener it being a Violet-tailed Sylph) starteed checking me out .. clearly saying you are new around here, I have not seen you before! Special times. I will always remember Mike, and of course send my warm condolences to Tricia and Susan and indeed all of his extended family. He will be missed.
