It was with great sadness and utter shock to learn of Sandy’s sudden passing.

I first met Sandy when we worked togther at John Brown. One of our first projects was in Abu Dhabi , on the Khuff Project back in 1998. From day one his enthusiasm and joy for work, people and life was evident.

Who can forget the 30 hour shift we put in pulling togther the EPC ITT for the project !! Sandy at 3.00am keeping me going with his famous Sean Connery as James Bond impression !!!

A true great in the Project Controls world activley promoting and advancing Project Controls standards for all those who worked for and with him. A warm and wonderful person who will be very much missed.

Your memorial service was absolutelty beautiful, so touching and heart felt, your daughter’s beautiful poem left no dry eye in the Church. You would have been very proud. The sun shone warm and so brightly, just like you Sandy.
