Paul truly felt like family to us at Achilles. It’s still hard for me to imagine Achilles without him. He was strong, visionary, and above all, a remarkable person. I can’t put into words how much I admired him—he was a man of integrity, and it was through him that I felt a deep, personal connection to Achilles like never before.
One of the things I’ll always cherish was his weekly blog. It wasn’t just an update—it was Paul’s way of keeping us all informed and included, sharing the company’s direction, his plans, and even where he would be in the coming week. It was the first time I saw a CEO be so open, honest, and committed to ensuring that every employee understood where the company stood. That transparency meant a lot to all of us.
Beyond the professional, Paul was a true family man. His love for Susie was always so visible and genuine—it was deeply moving and something I deeply admired.
I want to extend my deepest condolences to Susie, his family, and to all of us. This is a profound loss we all share.
