David brought a unique combination of calm, competent, confident credibility and down to earth realism and humour to his work. He was a joy to have as part of my team for two years and he will be much missed at work. However this will be nothing compared to the hole that he must have left in your life, Cath and my thoughts and prayers are with you and the children.
