My deepest condolences to Roger and family at this awful time.

I first met Louise on the set of Winterwatch 11 years ago. She welcomed me with open arms and made me feel so welcome. 

Louise was one of the most experienced and talented women I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Her professionalism and dedication to her job and campaigning for fair treatment within the industry never faultered. I always knew I could go to her for advice. She was a truly lovely and grounded supervisor who always stood up for what she believed in. 

I sat with Louise on so many occasions over the past 11 years and got to hear all about Roger and the kids progress. She was always so very proud of you all and loved talking about you on location.  

It’s just not fair that she has been taken from us so young. It’s always the good ones. I will sorely miss you Louise. Absolutely gutted. 

The watches are going to be tough without you. You leave very big shoes to fill.
