Biodun Bakarr was my first host in the United kingdom. He was full of zeal for the Lord. So passionate about God’s work, nothing could deter him from evangelising Christ. He was an evangelist par excellence. He the best hand a youth leader could have. I remember when he told him he would not be able to participate in central Youth Executive barely 3 weeks I became the coordinator of the Youth, I knew it would take a while to see one to fill the gap he left. 

Biodun did follow me to Dundee to evangelise at the city centre. He was never timid or ashamed to preach the gospel of Christ. 

Evangelist Biodun as I was fond of calling him was in all the key departments of the church, beyond the evangelism, he was the engine room in prayer department as well as church radio arm, you would also find him in the teen-age department. 

He’s a great loss to us as a body but we do know that everything works together for the good of those who love the Lord.

Adieu Biodun Bakarr, we love you but God loves you more.
