Dear Stuart,

We had breakfast together just a week before you left us. You told me that this year you had made a decision – to say yes to everything new that came your way, because life is simply too short.

We spoke about your past achievements, which were many and remarkable, and your plans for 2026 – full of energy, ambition and excitement. We agreed to meet again at the end of February. None of us could have imagined that would be our last conversation.

Your loss is immeasurable. To your family, your friends and to everyone who has the priviledge of knowing you – you left behind a space that cannot be filled.

You were a brilliant friend and colleague for the past 13 years to me, and I will always be greatful for the time we shared.
