Amer was one of the nicest people I’ve met at Kantar.

We didn’t work together but would often catch-up at social events or at after work drinks. 

When a colleague texted me to say that Amer had passed away it floored me. He was just the most unassuming and friendly people and it was just so sudden but also felt so underserving.  

One of the last times we spoke I happened to mention something I was working on, just in passing and didn’t think much of it, but the very next day he emailed me to share some things he thought would be relevant and some prior work we’d done for that client that he thought i should see to help. It was just one of countless times where Amer went out of his way to help others, in his own modest way. 

Above all Amer was just a really genuine and generous person and the teams he worked with were richer for having him work alongside them, supporting and looking after them and adding considered, valuable contributions in his unassuming way. 

I consider myself a richer person for having known Amer. We will miss him hugely and won’t ever forget him. 

Our love and thoughts are with all his friends and family at this difficult time.
