Ian was my line manager at a customer site and although we rarely saw each other face-to-face Ian was always available via online methods for a catch-up.

Ian always had a cheery persona and could be trusted implicitly. Ian is a great loss to BAE Systems, our clients and all the people who he had contact with.

My sincerest condolences go out to his family and friends at this difficult time.
