I met Cleve in 1990 at the ARGOS product technical training in Montpellier. At that time, ABX was a subsidiary of Roche, and he was a UK Roche employee, but he was kind to me, a stranger from Japan, and we enjoyed eating and drinking together every night. After ABX became the HORIBA group, he was always cooperative in promoting MICROS-CRP and introducing medical products in the UK. He also helped me a lot in my private life, such as helping my daughter travel to the UK. I still can’t believe he passed away so soon. I’m sure he will continue to watch over us from heaven.
