Rod Hills

Rod Hills was a legend. I will mostly fondly remember playing in the backrow with him for the Uppingham Colts XV. The smallest guy on the park, with the biggest heart.  A true leader, showing the  best of himself and all naturally followed. Yet as ferocious as he was on the pitch, his demeanour off it was of a quielty spoken, friendly guy. I cannot think of anyone who didn’t like him. That is why he was quite rightly chosen as our school captain. The best of us. My deepest condelences to Rachel and the rest of the family. Rest in Peace Rod.
