“Chukwudi! Pitch!” Sometimes… “Pitch!” That’s exactly how I would call your name with excitement anytime we would do video call, talk on the phone or message each other. I remember when we first met on video call and I asked you why they call you ‘Pitch.’ I remember us laughing after you explained why you were given that name and after I said something funny in relation to what you said. I knew you were serious with full of wisdom, yet sweet and a funny guy. I remember hearing the good news of you moving to the UK for your PHD. I was (& will always) be proud of you. I would jokingly ask you to send us British Biscuits so we can get a taste of the UK. We even spoke about one day coming to the UK to see you and vice versa. You and I got close over the years. You were (and will always) be a good friend and brother to me. You’ll always be one of my husband’s best friends and brother. We really appreciate all you did for us throughout the years.
