Andy was full of generosity and kindness and seemingly completely without ego. Gentle and approachable with younger colleagues, always knowledgeable and helpful, immensely funny.   A quick message to see if he was free for a query typically responded to with a request to wait for his arrival in Manchester  “to be berated in person for whatever it is I’ve done”…

In reality, whenever I did catch up with Andy he was most keen to talk about Francesca and Eloise and their latest achievements, always with immense pride. We will miss him hugely professionally but I will remember Andy’s sense of fun and the lovely energy he carried with him. Taken far too soon Andy. Your family and loved ones are very much in our thoughts.
