Dear Matt, I was shocked and deeply saddened upon hearing the news of your passing. It was a real pleasure working with you as you always wanted to best support colleagues and would be steadfast in wanting to resolve things. You were always meticulous, thorough and an expert in your domain. Your reputation precedes you and everyone in the organisation had the utmost confidence in your capabilities – it is shown in the countless responses here.

Much more importantly you had an unwavering sense of humour and a great deal of wit, even when things were not straightforward. I will always remember you with a beaming smile on your face and that would brighten everyone’s day. Whilst our paths did not cross on a day to day basiss we had some sporadic and enlightening conversations, which I very much enjoyed, and we got to know a bit more about one another. You had some pertinent advice about becoming a father and your love for your son was very evident.

My thoughts go out to your son, your family and friends. May you rest in peace.
