It is with great sadness that we learned that our colleague Kamola Mahmudova passed away surrounded by the love of her family and the thoughts of the many friends she had in the Bank.

Kamola epitomised the spirit of the EBRD.

She would not leave a stone unturned to help her clients and promote our mandate in our countries of operation. And she would do that with the kindest spirit. I was fortunate enough to work closely with Kamola in Azerbaijan. She approached her new challenge with enthusiasm, passion and inexhaustible energy especially as the going was getting tough.

We will all miss Kamola at the EBRD and we will honour her memory with our commitment and dedication.
