I have known Issy since she was working in DPMC in New Zealand, and was since lucky enough to share an office with her in the UK. She was a ray of sunshine, and her sense of humour always put a smile on my face. She threw herself into her work and racked up an array of impressive achievements in a field where specialism is a rare commodity, but she also clearly lived her life to the full and there was never a lunchtime when she did not have a story to share. She is going to be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have crossed paths with her. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.
